RO A2 Series Reverse Osmosis Systems

At the core of the reverse osmosis purification system are semi-permeable membranes. The semi-permeable pore structure on these membranes is larger than the molecular size of pure water but smaller than the molecular sizes of dissolved substances in water. When high-pressure water is supplied to the membrane, only pure water molecules and about 1-3% of the solutes in the water can penetrate through the membrane pores. Thus, while dissolved substances in the water are retained by a minimum of 98% depending on their sizes, suspended solid particles, bacteria, and viruses are filtered out.

Recommended Inlet Water Limits:

• Inlet Water TDS: 0-2,000 ppm
• Operating Pressure: between 10 and 15 bar
• Inlet Water Pressure: between 2 and 5 bar
• If hardness is over 3 French, ASC dosing is required.
• pH Range: 6-8
• Silica (SiO2) Tolerance: 25 cm ppm Maximum @ 60% efficiency
• Maximum Inlet Water Temperature: 30°C
• Maximum Iron (Fe2+) Tolerance: 0.05 ppm, if ASC is dosed then 0.2 ppm
• Hydrogen Sulfide should not be present.
• There should be no turbidity (NTU 1).
