RO A2 Series Reverse Osmosis Systems
At the core of the reverse osmosis purification system are semi-permeable membranes. When high-pressure water is supplied to the membrane, only pure water molecules and about 1-3% of the solutes in the water can pass through the membrane pores. Thus, microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses are filtered out.
RO A2 Series Reverse Osmosis Systems
At the core of the reverse osmosis purification system are semi-permeable membranes. The semi-permeable pore structure on these membranes is larger than the molecular size of pure water but smaller than the molecular sizes of dissolved substances in water. When high-pressure water is supplied to the membrane, only pure water molecules and about 1-3% of the solutes in the water can penetrate through the membrane pores. Thus, while dissolved substances in the water are retained by a minimum of 98% depending on their sizes, suspended solid particles, bacteria, and viruses are filtered out.

Recommended Inlet Water Limits:
- Inlet Water TDS: 0-2,000 ppm
- Operating Pressure: between 10 and 15 bar
- Inlet Water Pressure: between 2 and 5 bar
- If hardness is over 3 French, ASC dosing is required.
- pH Range: 6-8
- Silica (SiO2) Tolerance: 25 cm ppm Maximum @ 60% efficiency
- Maximum Inlet Water Temperature: 30°C
- Maximum Iron (Fe2+) Tolerance: 0.05 ppm, if ASC is dosed then 0.2 ppm
- Hydrogen Sulfide should not be present.
- There should be no turbidity (NTU 1).
